Privacy Notice

Effective September 10, 2026

Scope

This notice explains how Take Two Tutoring handles personal information through www.taketwotutoring.com and the consultation-request process.

Information we collect

When an adult requests a consultation, we may collect the adult's name, email address, optional telephone number, referral source, and message. An adult may choose to provide limited student information, such as a name, grade level, subject of interest, classroom circumstances, concerns, and goals.

Our hosting and security providers may receive technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security or error logs.

How we use and disclose information

We use information to respond to and manage consultation requests; evaluate whether tutoring may be an appropriate fit; communicate with a parent or guardian; operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the website; detect spam, fraud, misuse, or security incidents; and comply with legal obligations or establish or defend legal claims.

We may disclose information to providers that host, store, secure, or support the website and consultation process; to professional advisers; when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Information about children

The public website and consultation form are for parents, guardians, and other adults. A child under 13 should not submit personal information through the website. A parent or guardian may provide limited information about a child when requesting a consultation. If we learn that we collected personal information online directly from a child under 13 without appropriate parental authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Retention security and choices

We retain consultation information only as long as reasonably necessary for follow-up, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations. Requests that do not become client relationships are reviewed for deletion or anonymization after 12 months.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure. An adult may ask to access, correct, or delete associated information, or ask us to stop nonessential communications. We may request information needed to verify identity, authority, and the applicable record.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our practices, services, or legal obligations change. Revised notices will be posted here with an updated effective date.
